Xiaomi M365 - Set up - Support with Videos
So, you've got yourself the World's top selling e-scooter, The Xiaomi M365. The M365 does require a few minutes set up and calibration so we've created this guide to get you riding quickly and safely.
While you're calibrating your M365 download the Smart Phone app so it's ready to use when you've finished setting up your e-scooter.

Slow scooter? Switch between ECO and NORMAL mode
Switch between ECO and NORMAL mode on the M365 by double clicking the the power button quickly.
Punctures are a nightmare to fix! We strongly recommend using tyre sealant to prevent punctures.
Adjust your Brakes
If you feel the braking isn't 'hard' enough you can adjust this by pulling more of the grey/metal cable (inside the red outer cable) through to the calliper. Just like you would on a bicycle. You'll need a 4mm hex tool / Allen key to loosen / tighten the screw / bolt.
You can also adjust the disc alignment.
Folding your M365
Your Xiaomi has an easy folding mechanism, all you have to do is unclip and open the lever near the bottom of the stem. Then attach the hook on the left handlebar (also the bell!) to the clip on the rear wheel mudguard. Press the handlebar clip away from the bell to unfold the scooter.
Charging your M365
Your scooter will come with some charge when you open the box, but you should fully charge it before your first proper ride. When charging the scooter release the red cap at the front left side of the scooter below the deck.
Avoid Sticky Throttle!
If your throttle is or becomes sticky, try pulling the right handlebar grip slightly away from the throttle. It's easiest to do this by twisting the grip as you do it.
What if my Xiaomi M365 Handlebar Stem Rattles
First fold your scooter down, then you can use the hex tool provided to loosen the screw as shown in the first picture. Next, you’ll have to use an 8mm and a 10mm spanner to tighten the bolt inside. Then replace the original screw and the scooter stem should feel strong and stable.
